During the day, we are software engineers, product managers, data analysts, and more. What unites us all is each of the unique, life-changing experiences we had in college that happened through Jesus.
To us, our real job starts after work, when we get to create an Acts 2 Church at Northwestern University for college students seeking God and desiring a close-knit, gospel-centered community.
Meet the Pastor.
Kevin grew up in the church but was jaded with God and Christianity. Emily was the opposite - she grew up in an atheist home but was spiritually seeking. In college, they not only found Jesus but they also caught the bug to dedicate their lives to sharing this good news with other college students.
After serving in college ministry on the UC Berkeley campus for over 10 years, they moved to Evanston. They had to adjust to the Chicago snow and weather but thoroughly enjoy having four seasons. Rain or shine, you'll find them having people over for some BBQ in the backyard or a bowl of ramen on a cold day!
