What is Voyage College Church?
We are a church for college students in downtown Evanston, a 10-minute walk from campus.
In the simplest terms:
Founded in 2018 by two full-time leads and ten recent graduates from Berkeley and UCLA, Voyage College Church has quickly established itself as one of the primary churches for college students in Evanston.
Our culture is rooted in simplicity. Inspired by the Acts 2 Church, we focus on studying the Bible together, enjoying each other’s company, and building a close-knit community. When we ask our students to describe us, the words “food” and “community” are the first to come to mind.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common.”

Many of our students are part of Ignite Christian Fellowship on the Northwestern Campus.
Ignite Christian Fellowship at Northwestern University is your go-to spot for exploring faith and finding community. College is a great time to ask big questions and connect with others on the same journey. At Ignite, you can dive into Bible studies, engage in personal growth, join retreats, and get involved in youth service projects. Plus, we love to hang out together! You’ll find us grilling Korean BBQ, bowling, and exploring the city together.
